Guys... I COULD BE BIASED, BUT THIS MIGHT BE THE PERFECT AUDI R8. There's just something about the first-generation R8 that Audi absolutely nailed. The styling, the proportions, the iconic side blades, and that glorious naturally aspirated V10 sitting behind the driver. It's one of those designs that somehow looks just as good today as it did when it first came out. But here's why we especially love the 2015. You get the original R8 styling with the upgraded 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. The earlier R8s were incredible, but the DCT completely transformed the driving experience with lightning-quick shifts and smoother operation. You get that old-school supercar personality with just enough modern technology to make it an absolute pleasure to drive. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. And then there's THIS particular example. WHITE EXTERIOR. BLACK DIAMOND-STITCHED LEATHER. CONTRASTING WHITE STITCHING. CARBON FIBER EVERYWHERE. THE PANDA SPEC. MY GOD. The color combination is absolutely perfect. The White exterior highlights every beautiful body line, while the Black accents and carbon fiber give it that aggressive, exotic appearance without going overboard. Inside, the Diamond Cross-Stitched Leather with contrasting White stitching is one of our favorite Audi interior combinations. Add the Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Package, and you've got a cabin that feels every bit as special as the exterior. And whoever optioned this thing knew EXACTLY what they were doing. CARBON CERAMIC BRAKES WITH RED CALIPERS. CARBON FIBER ENGINE BAY. CARBON FIBER REAR SPOILER. CARBON FIBER DOOR HANDLES. CARBON FIBER INTERIOR TRIM. CARBON FIBER SIDE BLADES CHEF'S KISS. Then there's the Airlift Suspension System, giving this R8 the best of both worlds. Want to cruise around at a factory-like ride height? No problem. Want to completely transform the stance, air it out, and SLAM this thing to the floor when parked? You can do that too. That's the beauty of air suspension — everyday practicality when you need it and an absolutely INSANE stance when you want it.THIS CAR IS ALL ABOUT STANCE AND OPTIONS. The original design is timeless, the V10 is phenomenal, and the later DCT cars hit an incredible sweet spot between analog character and modern drivability.
